White Hart Chardonnay


VINEYARDS: 85% Arroyo Seco, 15% Santa Lucia Highlands
BLEND: 100% Chardonnay
AROMAS: Bright aromas of granny smith apples, mandarin orange, nutmeg, baking bread.
FLAVORS: Mouthfilling flavors of green apples, baked apple tart, and citrus. Medium long finish with vanilla oak and gentle spice notes.
TECHNICAL: Alcohol 13.5%. pH 3.50; Titratable Acids 5.8g/L; Residual Sugar .17 g/L; 50% malolactic fermentation.
SERVE WITH: Roast poultry, grilled or baked fish, light pastas and rich salads.


Most of the grapes for this wine were grown in the Central Coast’s Arroyo Seco district, with a small portion from the adjacent Santa Lucia Highlands. Chardonnay from this area is totally Californian, bursting with citrus and green apple flavors, with a distinctive “freshly baked bread” aspect

Since we strive to emphasize the fruit, we take our cues from the traditional methods of Chablis, with a California twist. We get more sunshine in the Arroyo Seco, so we can emphasize the lush texture and flavors that embody California’s Central Coast.
