Vintage Notes
The fiercely cold winter of 2013-2014 was tempered by our proximity to the lake, reducing damage to less than 10% for most of the vineyard. Bud break happened a little earlier than we had anticipated in mid April this year, but luckily we did not have any late spring frosts at the vineyard to cause any damage. White wines fared well during 2014 taking advantage of the cooler weather and longer ripening season to develop nice acidity and bright flavors.

Vineyard Information
Utilizing our original Riesling vineyard planted in 1972 and our North Block of Riesling, planted in 2006, have shown to produce high quality fruit that produces well balanced wines.

Winemaking Information
Harvested on October 22 through October 23, 2013 at 21.1 Brix. The juice was cold settled for 24 hours to reduce solids before beginning fermentation. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures, with constant tasting, using Epernay II, VL1, and RHST yeasts. Separate lots were blended before bottling to maximize the best characteristics of each lot.

Tasting Notes
This wine is lively, with round, full notes of green apple and other exotic and tropical fruits. A hint of acidity balances the wine perfectly. The finish is a pleasant, flinty lift. Cheese Pairing: Mild or sharp cheddar, spicy cheese, and blue cheese. Food Pairing: Riesling pairs well with salads, light desserts, as well as spicy foods such as Mexican, Middle Eastern, and Thai cuisine.
