Winemaking The grapes were selected and picked in Falorca in Vale das Escadinhas vineyard, 40 years of age. They were hand picked to cases of 18 kgs, taken to the cellar and remained a full night to lower the temperature before the process started. They were then foot treaded in a old granitic lagar, and the fermentation was partially made in the barrels.

Tasting Notes Despite its recent bottling, it seems like a beauty in this vintage, caressing in texture This is an impressive Touriga in its earthy and complex style. There are tannins in the back – so don’t be surprised if it is a better idea to hold it rather than plunge in. Drink 2015-2028.

Aging 50% in 1st year, 50% in 2nd/3rd year 225 l. French oak barrels (18 mths) and then stainless steel vats (18 mths)
